After getting everything installed I found under the device manager that there is an exclamation mark next to a "Base System Device driver". I've been searching the web but I'm getting conflicting answers as to what to do. The machine is a Sony VPCJ128FG running Win7 Ultimate. Base system driver usually refers to the system's chipset driver. To get the drivers for your system you go to the Acer Support website and download the the drivers Acer has posted for your system. Replied on December 12, 2018. Better to go into your Device Manager > View tab > Show hidden devices > Now see whether few drivers have exclamation marks against them. If yes, right click on that and Update driver. If Update fails, you should go to computer manufacturer's website and download driver from there and install. This box is a note.
